Bob
is Sales Manager and Sports Director of Newstalk 790 WPIC and the
New 96.7 The River. He has been broadcasting local sports games
since 1986. After graduation from Clarion U. with a degree in Communications,
he was on hand as the color man during the Kennedy State Championship
game. In 1988 he became Sports Director of WWIZ 103.9 and then in
2000 became Sports Director at WPIC. Bob has broadcast over 1500
high school games in his careear including 15 State Championship
games. |
Some
of his most memorable moments include Hickory's football State Title,
Kennedy's 2nd straight basketball title in 1987, the year both Farrell
and Sharon make the state finals in football, Sharpsville football
squad wins State title in 1997. Rod White wins Olympic Gold and
he drives the limo in his parade in Hermitage.
Some of his most memorable interviews - Chuck Noll, David Feherty,
Natalie Gulbis, Jim Leyland, Andre Coleman, Wade Schalles, Ed McCluskey
and Myron Cope.
Bob is a 1982 Hickory High Grad and lives in Hermitage with his
wife,Kristin,his daughter Jillian and son David,and last but not
least there two lab's Snickers and Bunkers ! And yes the famous
Herald newspaper writer,Jeff, IS Bob's older brother!! |

| Hugh
is the co-host of the PIC Sports Line during the football and basketball
seasons. He served 22 years as the Athletic Director and 32 years
as an English Teacher at Mercer High School until he retired in
2004. Hugh remains in the position of Director of Forensics (competitive
public speaking) at Mercer which he has held for 33 years where
they have won 31 consecutive PA High School Speech League championships
along with 11 speech state champions. Was named to |

the
P.H.S.S.L. Hall of Fame in 1997.
Hugh
has worked in radio for 38 years as a sportscaster and talk show
host. At WPIC he is the "Pittsburgh Steelers Insider"
and "Pitt Basketball Insider". He was the voice of the
Sharon Lions Club Hoyle Basketball Tournament for nearly 38 years.

Mark
has been working in Sports Radio doing Play-by-play and color commentary
since 1984 and with WPIC since 1996. He earned a telecommunications
degree from Westminster College in 1987. A 6th Grade teacher in
the Hermitage school district, Mark also coaches Cross Country.
The avid Cleveland sports fan lives in Hermitage with his wife Connie,
and their 3 children: Kaitlyn, Drew,and Ellie.

Joe
has been covering the Mercer County sports scene on the radio
since 1990. A graduate of Grove City College in 1991, Klimchak
joined the WPIC Sports Team during his senior year as a football
sideline reporter. He has served as a play-by-play announcer since
then.
Klimchak, an Aliquippa native, also serves as the Pittsburgh Pirates
backup public address announcer. In addition, with the Bucs, he
makes in-game announcements, batter

introductions
and line-up changes, filling in for Tim DeBacco, the clubs ballpark
voice since 1988. Since the Pirates opened PNC Park in 2001, Klimchak
has served the In-Game Entertainment Department in several other
capacities, including matrix scoreboard statistician, Deko operator,
LED operator, camera assistant, and as a pierogi. Klimchak has
twice suited up for the Pirates popular Great Pittsburgh Pierogie
Race, winning once as Cheese Chester and being laid out as Oliver
Onion.
Klimchak is currently employed by the George J. Howe Company in
Grove City as its marketing and communications specialist. Joe
resides in Grove City with his wife Jennifer and daughter Adrienne.
